Pinterest publishes a number on its public idea pages: how many people searched a keyword. This tool reads that number for every keyword it finds. Pinterest does not say which period the number covers, so use it to compare keywords with each other, not as monthly searches.
Where do I put keywords on Pinterest?

Put the main keyword in the pin title. Use 3 to 5 related keywords in the pin description, written as normal sentences. Use the broad keyword in the board name and board description. Pinterest also reads the text on your pin image and the page you link to.
Why are some numbers marked with ~?

Pinterest has no published number for that keyword, so the tool estimates it from Pinterest's own popularity score. We tested the score on 414 keywords in 10 topics. It follows the real numbers closely, usually within 1.5 times.
